Three Techniques
double
double means that in the edge of a slight line, you’d better using one pixel or gradient change of color to the line instead of using to point in the connection.
by using pixel-perfect in aseprite you can greatly duel with it.
jaggies
jaggies means using the symmetry and satisfied pixel number to the curve line.
for example , when you are using 2 and 5 pixel number and decided to make the line more continues. you should use $\frac{5+2}{2}$ about 3.5(3) as the middle of two pixels
outlines
outlines is hardly to be found in two pixel image:
the differences exist in the corner of the edge. using gradient , fix the corner or not is slightly different . what you should do is just to satisfy you self
